LimeLoop smart shipping platform combines a reusable package and a simple sensor, creating a real-time lens into the e-commerce experience. This provides retailers with a powerful platform to effectively understand and communicate with their customers, guide corporate responsibility, and optimize supply chain decisions.

The Role

Join us as we re-imagine the e-commerce experience. We are seeking a Software Engineer to execute against a number of key tasks for our web app. 

So how will you spend your days?

You’ll be one of our first hires of a fast-growing team! There are fundamental, technical, and architectural decisions to make. There are key user experiences to develop, iterate, and innovate on. There are best practices to solidify. You’ll be building a product and establishing the foundation for a world-class engineering department.

Who are you?

  • Care deeply about UX – User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design.
  • An insightful problem solver, capable of autonomously defining and executing on a technical vision, but eager to collaborate on it.
  • Excited to join an early-stage startup, and clear-eyed about the scrappiness, flexibility, and resilience that it requires.
  • Shopify Interfacing: we are where our retailers are, as such the role will create both native and API-driven interfaces with leading e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience or interest in integrating with hardware firmware.

You should have…

  • Front-end expertise. Deep proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework, including interaction design, animation, and performance optimization.
  • JavaScript expertise. An expert in the ins and outs of the language. Having strong opinions (loosely held) on best practices and design patterns.
  • Although we know that years of experience isn’t always the best indicator of talent, at least 5 years of focused Javascript experience is what we imagine. JS has changed a lot over the years and you should have some historical knowledge of past versions of JS.

Compensation

This is a remote role, with salary + equity + benefit compensation.

This provides retailers with a powerful platform to effectively understand and communicate with their customers, while providing the insights necessary to inform ESG and supply chain decisions.

When it comes to this ecosystem of customers, the key to our success will lie in both staying in tune with their current needs and anticipating those of tomorrow. We’re looking for someone who will support customer acquisition, contributing to revenue growth and reducing environmental impact.  

Through joining this early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership team and external stakeholders to effectively develop and grow with the sales team.

You Will…

  • Research and outreach directly to qualified prospects and cultivate customer relationships,
  • Grow and support a persona-targeted sales pipeline,
  • Formulate and qualify ideas to promote lead generation to meet sales goals,
  • Develop and evolve sales assets that are on brand with support from Marketing,
  • Share prospect and customer feedback to improve our value proposition and product,
  • Work with the leadership team in executing a world-changing vision of shipping without the waste.

You should have…

  • At least 1 year of B2B sales experience required,
  • B2B sales or growth experience selling a SaaS or equivalent product preferred,
  • B2B sales or growth experience selling to retail businesses preferred,
  • A passion for zero waste and net zero initiatives,
  • A strong understanding of customer values and success,
  • A passion for communicating with customers and developing long-lasting relationships,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: utilized with our customers, as well as delivering effective feedback to your peers and management,
  • Excellent demonstrated performance of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals or targets,
  • A strong process-driven approach, including use of existing and new tools to optimize operations,
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce,
  • A sense of curiosity that leads to creative and executable solutions,
  • An ability to quickly spot problems and come to the table with solutions,
  • An eagerness to build skills and grow with the sales organization.
