What does it mean to live sustainably? What does it even look like? With only 3.5 years until 2025, brands work harder to meet new-plastics initiatives; while consumers work smarter to live more sustainably.

LimeLoop offers ways to swap single-use to alternative packaging for brands and consumers.

REUSABLE SHIPPER SIZING

What if the perfect fit existed for shipping?

No more shipping air or filling too-large cardboard boxes with void material.

No more housing mountains of leftover packaging, especially during the holidays.

Reduce single-use plastic

5 WAYS TO AVOID SINGLE-USE PLASTIC

By Christina Oliver, CONTRIBUTOR AT LimeLoop

Since the 1950s, about 8.3 billion tons of plastic has been produced. That’s equivalent to the weight of roughly a billion elephants or 47 million blue whales. Sadly, though, only about 9% of this plastic is recycled, 12% is burned, and the remaining 79% ends up in landfills or the environment.

Wait, what?

In spirit of Plastic-free July, LimeLoop rounded up five ways to avoid single-use plastics for this month and beyond.

THE PLASTIC PROBLEM ISN’T YOUR FAULT, BUT YOU CAN BE PART OF THE SOLUTION

By Rebecca Davis and Audrey Nguyen, CONTRIBUTORS at NPR.

“Take all that plastic we go through day in and day out. I’m talking about the stuff that comes with food and bottled drinks, cosmetics, carryout containers, bags and wrappers — more than 40% of all plastic made is packaging, which is used only once or twice before being thrown away. Don’t we feel at least a little guilty when we toss one plastic snack wrapper or coffee cup after another into the trash?

As efforts continue across companies to eliminate single-use plastic packaging, consumers, more now than ever, collectively have the power to propel the reuse revolution forward.
